I was trying to install both encoder and decoder for the MPEG-4 files and I met the problem of not able to run ./bootstrap. After searching around, I finally found that we need to type "sh ./bootstrap" instead. Simple. ;)

Note: I'm using Terminal on Mac OS X Leopard.
