Some goodies for TV/Movie lovers. I gotten to know a friend who work in this startup and he invited me into the private BETA. As usual, it comes with free invites. So I would like to give away 6 free invites.
I’ve been thinking, how should I start giving it out…
Why not share with me how you use i3Theme? I love to know how everyone modify their theme. I guess the first 6 i3Theme users who post on this forum with a sentence of what they do to mod the theme and a screenshot, will get it.
All given out. Thank you to those who share your mods. Continue sharing it

For days, I’ve been finding a solution to segregate my wireless router from the congested wireless network that seems to only appears around night time, 7pm to 11pm.
Initially, I ask for support from Planex, the brand of my wireless router and they told me the only solution is to find out which channels are congested and avoid those channels. The person suggested NetStumbler, a tool to checkout your friendly wireless neighbourhood.
So I hung up the call and went to download it. After I installed, nothing works. No data shown. I called the support again. And, this time, he told me that Vista don’t work with it. (Shucks!) Well, what’s new. I asked the person is there any alternative and his replies is “Netstumbler is the best freeware you can get”. Weird reply, I assume that’s a no. I hung up again.
Guess what’s next? Google! I google around, as always, and I found the simplest way to do it, without even installing a single software, thanks to Steve Clayton’s blog. Here’s how it works:
Just fire up your command prompt and type netsh. When the netsh> prompt show up, type:
wlan show networks mode=bssid
Now I’m able to see the invisible wireless neighbourhood and set it to the channel that nobody uses it.

I’m featured in the Business Times. What an interesting day for me. I love the way the reporter wrote about my company, my team and I. Yup, Southeast Asian Bill Gates. That’s what they wrote about me.
I’ve always wonder how do people like Bill Gates, Sergey Brin, Steve Jobs build their empire. Mathematically, it is impossible to earn that much of money given a constant high paying job throughout one person’s entire lifetime. Finally, when I entered National University of Singapore, I get to learn about entrepreneurship from their courses, cca and peers. It’s been an interesting path I took in my life. I made a lot of sacrifices to satisfy my hunger.
I would say, it’s worth the time and effort. I’m on my way to my dreams now. Starting my own business, doing what I’m passionate about, sharing my experiences, facing new challenges everyday and working with a fun group of people towards a common goal. All these are priceless.
Just an advice, if you are sick and tired of your 9am to 5pm job, it’s time to take a peek at starting your own business. No words can described the experience and the satisfaction you’ll get out of it.

Congratulation to the Exoro Team for organising the first-ever National Youth Entrepreneurship Conference in Singapore! It’s been my pleasure working with my teammates, Alvin, Wu Di, Jinyang, Zhang Dan, Hirman and Nat for putting up this wonderful conference for a good cause of promoting entrepreneurship among the youth.
Recently, the Singapore Government have been heavily promoting entrepreneurship by setting up Student Clubs and Societies in various educational institutions. In addition, almost every Government Ministry has set aside funds for startups to grab. We are currently in a situation that, “Too much money around, but too little good ideas to invest in”.
Why the Singapore Government is becoming a “VC” themselves? Continue reading »

It’s been a few stressful months for me - working and studying at the same time. Finally, I got a chance to destress and watch Beast Wars (Transformer series).
I remember that the last time I watched it, it was a few years back when it was on the national TV channel. However, I was too lazy to chase the series as it only show on every Sunday.
At least now, I get to watch it online
If you guys interested in watching it, here’s the links to the complete series.

For those who watch it before, you may want to consider this as a warm up before the Transformer Movie debut in a few days time. For Singapore, it’s tomorrow
I guess I will watch it next week, because I doubt I’ll be able to get the tickets, anyway.
UPDATE: Nice series! I’m watching Beast Machines now
Sequel to Beast Wars. Here’s the link to Season 1 and Season 2.
