i3Theme has been and will continue to be a great success, with over 40,000 downloads to date. It's been a wonderful time for me to build and maintain the theme.

Today, on the April 1st, 2008, I would like to release the next big theme, i2Theme. It's not an April Fool joke. It's a real thing. If you don't believe, you can check it out here.

So why do I need to come out with i2Theme when original iTheme is made available by Nick La? Two reasons; Firstly, a request made by some of you, which makes me to ponder for a while. I did a check on the iTheme by Nick La that leads me to the second reason, no further development since version 1.1.

Thus, I spent a few nights transferring all the features I developed for i3Theme and put together a new theme, i2Theme. I believe it's going to benefit everyone who loves the mac-like design and prefer a 2 columns instead of 3 columns WordPress theme, i3Theme.
