Yup, that’s right. Paypal has officially introduce a new set of buttons. They says that “They’re (referring to the buttons) bold and colorful. Designed to catch the eye of customers – and increase sales“. My opinion, they are ugly and difficult to read. Oh well, I prefer to stick with the old ones.
A picture is worth a thousand words. (click on the image for a full screenshot)

colorful buttons like this make difficult for webmasters to match it with their own sites color theme. I like the old one more, simply because it had a more neutral color (gray/black/white).

hideous — they’re frickin’ hideous…why couldn’t they at least give us a choice? Control freaks!

Did anybody save the old ones? I’d like to replace the ugly orange ones. I’m just sorry I didn’t save them before the changeover.

obvious why they did it — look at how the “make a donation button” REALLY “stands out” on this site … doesn’t make the button design any better though …lol

I agree, they are absolutely ugly. What are they thinking making it orange! Its hard to blend in with websites.
I’m searching for the old ones …
